Uitreiking Pascallekes 2018 in Gent (Oostakker)

17/3/2019. De “Oscars” van de mailgroep Fotografie werden dit jaar uitgereikt in Restaurant ‘t Boerenhof in Oostakker. Het was weer een gezellig weerzien met de collega’s van de foto- en filmgroep.

Na mijn Pascalleke van 2015 was ik blij dat ik ook dit jaar het Pascalleke voor de beste foto van het jaar mocht ontvangen.

Uitstap naar Sint-Truiden

11/05/2017. Met de Mailgroep Fotografie van het Seniorennet gaan we nog eens op uitstap. Ditmaal naar Sint-Truiden. Onze uitstekende gids, André, liet ons de mooiste plekjes van zijn stad zien. Het Begijnhof en het mooie kerkje en het domein Speelhof. Daar was er gereserveerd voor ons middagmaal; heel lekker en verzorgd. In de namiddag wandelden we tot in het centrum waar nog heel wat te bezichtigen was. Moe maar tevreden ging ik huiswaarts. Uitstap naar Sint Truiden Hugo Torfs

Avondfotografie in Gent

22/03/2017. Voor de mailgroep Fotografie van het Seniorennet had ik een uitstap georganiseerd voor avondfotografie in Gent. Er was heel veel interesse. We vertrokken rond 18u30 en wandelden langs de belangrijkste locaties. Het was niet mogelijk om zo’n grote groep samen te houden. Het was een mooi “blauw uurtje” en er zijn veel interessante foto’s geschoten. Weer een geslaagde avond met een superleuke groep enthousiaste fotografen. Avondfotografie in Gent Hugo Torfs

C-Mine Genk

16/05/2016 De mailgroep Fotografie van het Seniorennet organiseerde die dag een uitstap naar C-Mine Genk.
C-Mine is de naam voor een ontwikkelingsproject van de voormalige steenkoolmijn van Winterslag in Genk. De naam is gekozen via een wedstrijd. De C staat voor creativiteit. Sedert 2001 bezit de stad Genk het complex. Zeker de moeite waard. Hugo Torfs

Uitreiking “Pascallekes”

13/3/16 In het Kesseldal in Kessel-Lo werden de “Pascallekes” uitgereikt van 2015.

Pascalleke: De SenNet Trofee!
Voor het elfde jaar op rij werden de beste werken van de mailgroepen Fotografie en Filmen bekroond met een Pascalleke!
Het hele jaar lang hebben de leden van de mailgroepen Fotografie en Filmen hun creativiteit de vrije loop gelaten, met prachtige resultaten tot gevolg. Op 13 maart werd hun harde labeur beloond, want het was opnieuw tijd voor de Pascallekesuitreiking! Al voor de elfde keer op rij werden tijdens deze fijne dag de beste werken uit de mailgroepen Fotografie en Filmen bekroond met de Oscar van SeniorenNet: het Pascalleke. De winnaars werden uiteraard gekozen door de creatievelingen zelf; de leden van de mailgroepen.

Het beeldje, vernoemd naar onze webmaster Pascal (Vyncke), is ontworpen door kunstenares Susanna Ghazaryan. Zij creëerde een boom, gemaakt uit keramische gips, waaruit het gestileerde hoofd van Pascal tevoorschijn komt. De takken van de boom verwijzen naar de steeds nieuwe ideeën die worden ingevoerd en naar de diverse groepen van SenNet.

Mailgroep Fotografie brengt amateurfotografen samen om hun passie, ervaring en kennis te delen met elkaar. Dankzij de tips & tricks van de andere leden kan iedere beginnende fotograaf zijn vaardigheden aanscherpen om tot het perfecte plaatje te komen! Om de kneepjes van het vak onder de knie te krijgen, worden er zelfs interessante lessen georganiseerd! Zo kan je meer leren over Compositie, Ritme en Structuur, Diepte, Portret en Beweging.De leden van de mailgroep zijn erg bezige bijen, dat bewijst de grote interesse in de leuke uitstappen én vele wedstrijden en opdrachten die ze organiseren. Tijdens de Pascallekes vielen
er dan ook prijzen te winnen in drie categorieën:

Met de Mailgroep Fotografie op wandel in Lier

9/9/15. De Mailgroep Fotografie van het Seniorennet had me gevraagd om een uitstap te organiseren in Lier. Ik had een traject uitgedokterd, een paar bootjes gehuurd bij de Koninklijke Lierse Bootvissers en een etentje besteld bij Het Elzenhof. De meeste van de dertig fotografen arriveerden met de trein. Om 11 uur was iedereen present aan het station. We wandelden via de vesten tot aan het Begijnhof. Na een kort bezoekje in het lokaal van Fotogroep Pallieter werd er druk gefotografeerd in het Begijnhof. Dan via de Gevangenenpoort, de Eikelstraat en de Grote Markt naar het restaurant. Daar stond alles al klaar. Het eten en de bediening waren perfect. Iedereen was tevreden. Dan stapten we naar de aanlegsteiger van de bootjes. Onderweg werd ook weer druk gefotografeerd. Het was wel moeilijk om iedereen tijdig aan de steiger te krijgen. De schippers maakten er een onvergetelijke tocht van. Iedereen was wild enthousiast en velen (zelfs een paar Nederlanders) gingen nog wel eens terugkomen naar Lier. We wandelden nog naar de fotogenieke Vismarkt en de mooie dag werd afgesloten met een drink in café Sint Gummarus.
